Roles to Fill
As leaders in a rebellion, one that must succeed you need to fill certain roles and requirements to ensure a lasting victory.
Siege Engineer: They build all the siege equipment for land and sea attacks.
Wall Commander: You need someone at each location you hold to focus on the maintaining of the defense.
Field Commanders: You need someone experienced to lead troops on each attack.
Quartermaster: In the field they manage rations and help maintain equipment, in a base they do that as well as help manage the holds resources.
Coin Master: They manage your overall finances, if you need to go to the Iron Bank they are the ones doing it.
Food: You have to keep a steady flow of food to each hold and troops in the field.
Drink: It doesn't have to be water but your troops need something to keep them from being dehydrated.
Cloth: People in your lands need the cloth to maintain their professions and their homes.
Medicine: You need the herbs to keep your people healthy.
Each role and resource will be ranked from 0-5.
0: For a role it means that role fails at a 50% rate, for resources it means that troops and vassals will start to suffer from the lack of that particular resource after 7 days.
1: For a role it means that role fails at a 25% rate, for resources it means that troops and vassals will start to suffer from the lack of that particular resource after 14 days.
2 For the role it means that role fails at a 5% rate, for resources it means that troops and vassals will start to suffer from the lack of that particular resource after 21 days.
3: For a role it means that role is stable, resources are also stable.
4: For a role it means that role is booming with an additional 25% success, for resources, you develop 7 days worth of surplus each month, that can be sold or traded.
5: For a role it means that role is in the hands of a master with an additional 50% success, for resources you develop 7 days worth of surplus every 2 weeks, that can be sold or traded.
If a role is not filled, a hero can assist if they are trained in skills relevant to that role. Heroes success is based on their rolls.
If a resource is lacking a hero can aquire more, or build something to improve that resource if they know how.
Guards: They are not soldiers, they only serve to defend the city and keep the peace.
Merchant: They move resources for you.
Mercenaries: Extra soldiers, they are of equal or greater quality than soldiers depending on the Mercenaries.
Training Commander: Able to train new recruits at a faster rate.
New Recruits: A level 1 recruit takes 90 days to be trained.
